Central University Taiwan improves output LEDs with CrystalQ wafers

The Central University of Taiwan has succeeded in developing a patterning process on sapphire wafers from CrystalQ to drastically improve the light output. The results are published in Applied Physics Letters 95, 011110 (2009).
